The 2nd Annual Wanderings Film Festival is currently a one day, 12 hour event held on the 5th of November in beautiful downtown Huntsville, Alabama. This will be our second year and we want to encourage filmmakers the world over to submit their projects to us.  We are a small town festival, though we love what we do and hope we can share that love with our community and attendees.  It is in that direction that we hope to screen as many types and styles of film as we can for attendees in an effort to promote and bring a love of cinema to our audience. 

We will be showing both Feature Length Films and Short Films during the festival, and hope to provide as large a range of categories and styles as we can during the event.  We encourage any and all filmmakers to submit their works from anywhere in the world, and hope everyone in attendance will enjoy the selections for viewing at the festival.

We will have some time set aside for the filmmakers/actors/etc between screenings so that the festival goers can get to know them better, subject to time and availability. Official selection filmmakers will receive free admission and a short time slot to share their thoughts.

Awards will be presented at the end of the night to the winner of each category. There will be one award decided by audience ballot for audience favorite, as well as Wanderings Film Festivals 'Polly Neko' Award, from which the festival directors choose their favorite submission.
